Eek - hate to say it but, there's only a few months of summer left. How fun has your summer been so far? If you're struggling to list the fun things you've done so far this summer, or you're just looking for some fun summer activities, see the list below!
1) Go camping Where I live in Minnesota, there are so many places to go camping this summer! Minnesotans, click here for available places to camp. If you haven't gone camping this summer, or ever, you're missing out. All you need is a tent, bug spray, hot dogs and marshmallows, fire wood, sleeping bags and BEER of course! 2) Go to a festival All summer long, there are different carnivals and festivals taking place. These festivals/carnivals are a great way to taste homemade Minnesotan food as well as purchase items from local Minnesotan business owners! Click here to find a festival or carnival near you. 3) Go to the Minnesota State Fair No description is needed. Go to the Minnesota Great Get Together! You won't regret it! Click here for information. 4) Go to the Zoo The Como Zoo is available to visit year-round for free, while a donation is recommended. The Minnesota Zoo has an admission fee, and has many different shows available to all patrons year round. 5) Visit a Beach Living in the land of 10,000 Lakes, you may as well learn where the best beaches are! Click here for the best beaches in the Twin Cities area. 6) Go "Up North" If you are a Minnesotan, you certainly have heard of "Up North" before. If you aren't - "Up North" is usually the cabin or vacation home owned by a Minnesotan that is accompanied most weekends in the summer. My personal "Up North" favorite getaways (all clickable): Grand Portage, Breezy Point, and Nisswa MN. Hope you all have a great rest of your summer!
